About

Let’s fix our parks, make streets safe, and get families and businesses ahead—together.

Why I’m Running

I’m Daniel George—Anchorage born and raised, from Government Hill to Russian Jack. I grew up biking trails, skating Westchester, and playing ball for City View Little League. I’m a businessman who’s run my own show for 15 years, served on the Planning and Zoning Commission, and worked in government from the State House to the U.S. Senate.

I’m running because I remember when this city hummed, streets were solid, families thrived, and things just worked. We’ve got challenges, but I know how to tackle them. I’ll bring your voice to the Assembly with the grit we all share. Let’s fix our parks, make streets safe, and get families and businesses ahead—together.

What I’ll Focus on as Your Assembly Member

I’m stepping up because North Anchorage matters—here’s what I’ll work on:

Community-Driven Leadership: Fixing Up Our Streets and Parks

I’ve led the Mountain View Community Council, chaired the Federation of Community Councils, and served on the Planning and Zoning Commission because this community trusted me to step up. I’ll listen to neighbors, elders, and you, pushing for solid roads and parks that are clean, safe, and open for families. I grew up skating Westchester, biking Chester Creek—our green spaces are why we’re here. I’ll fight to keep them that way for our kids and everyone.

Public Safety & Responsible Governance: Making Streets Safe and Dollars Count

I’ll back our police and fire teams to keep our streets, homes, and downtown secure—I remember when it hummed with life. Running a small business for 15 years taught me to make budgets work; I’ll push to stick to our tax cap, find state and federal support, and keep decisions out in the open. You deserve a government that delivers, not just spends.

Expanding Opportunities for Families and Businesses: Helping Families and Businesses Get Ahead

As a Realtor and laborer who has built homes here, I’ve backed housing fixes like the 2022 Accessory Dwelling Unit changes—I’ll keep working for affordable options. I’ve raised a kid in our schools and served as a private school board member; I’ll work with the School Board to get results for students—better outcomes, not just bigger budgets. I’ll also support small businesses and families with practical step, less red tape, and more opportunities to grow.

Let’s make Anchorage
hum again, together.

On April 1st, I’d be honored if you’d vote for me to bring your voice to the table.
