I’m Daniel George, and I’m running for the Anchorage Assembly’s District 1 to represent all residents of North Anchorage. A great city is simply a collection of great neighborhoods. Each of the neighborhoods in North Anchorage is home to incredible people, as well as complex but solvable challenges. The foundation of local government is public safety. I have a solid track record working in volunteer roles as well as within government helping people overcome obstacles and delivering results.

As a lifelong Anchorage resident, my roots in District 1 run deep. The strength of relationships built over a lifetime of working and living within our community are a powerful asset, especially when it comes to problem solving. I’m committed to giving back and ensuring that Anchorage continues to provide excellent opportunities for our future generations.
